The President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in agreement to the suggestion made by the core maritime practitioners has successfully removed the maritime sector from the Ministry of Transportation.
This information was obtained in the list of portfolios assigned to newly appointed ministers, the President has now created a new ministry called Marine and Blue Economy, to be headed by Bunmi Tunji as Minister in charge.
In same manner , The president has also appointed former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola as the Minister of Transportation.
