Actualizing its promises by a way of encouraging the youth that there is reward for better performance, the management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has presented N5 million each to the two best graduating students of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) for 2024.
The award presentation took place during the week at the Tantita Head Office in Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
Similarly, Godfrey Pondi Book Club awarded N2 million each to the two best graduating students.
According to the Executive Director of Operations and Technical of Tantita Limited, Capt Warredi Enisuoh affirmed that the gesture was a follow-through on a pledge made by Security Company to the school, Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) and also The African Child Award ceremony held on July 4, 2024, at the FUPRE University campus.
Capt Warredi expressed further that the event was aimed at promoting academic excellence and honoring individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the development of Nigeria’s petroleum industry.
Aligning with the notion in support excellence performance the Managing Director of Tantita Limited, High Chief (Engr) Kestin Ebimobowei Pondi, and the Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, were also awarded for the contribution to the Oil and Gas sector of the nation’s economy.
Actualizing its own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and bringing to fore the Security company TSSNL’s vision of partnering with educational institutions and corporate bodies to combat crude oil theft, to train and build Nigerian youths into resourceful and self-sufficient individuals, the company has pledged to encourage and empower top graduates .
Speaking at the presentation at Tantita’s head office in Bendel Estate, Ugborikoko, Effurun, the Executive Director of Administration, Dr. Eddy Pondi, emphasized that the cash donations to the two top graduates underscored Tantita’s commitment to promoting education and fostering future leaders in the Nigerian petroleum sector.
Dr. Pondi highlighted that the initiative is part of Tantita’s broader vision to support education, eradicates poverty and crime to the minimal level and empowerthe youth.
