The Lilypond Export Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has recorded a 9.56% increase in export value, reaching $858,109,319.57 in Q4 2025, compared to $783,221,101.38 in Q4 2024.
This growth is attributed to a strong performance in agricultural produce and manufactured goods exports .
Key Highlights:
Agricultural Produce: Remained the dominant export category, with exports valued at $568.27 million in Q4 2025, up from $542.92 million in Q4 2024.
Manufactured Goods: Recorded the highest growth, rising to $240.46 million from $134.65 million in Q4 2024.
Export Container Throughput: Improved by 24.26%, with 13,756 containers processed in Q4 2025, compared to 11,070 containers in Q4 2024.
Export Surcharge Collections: Increased to N208.54 million in Q4 2025, up from N91.95 million in Q4 2024.
Comptroller Samuel Olusanya Ariyibi attributed the growth to improved trade facilitation, increased compliance, and the support of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.
