The Murtala Muhammed Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has achieved a significant milestone in revenue generation, collecting a total of N80.4 billion in customs duty and other charges between January and June 2024. This represents a 107.5% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The Apapa Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS)) has intercepted seven containers of contrabands, including cutlasses, expired drugs, and frozen chicken, worth approximately N292.2 million.
