WMC Customs Hands Over 120 Sacks of Seized Cannabis Sativa Worth N704M to NDLEA

The Nigeria Customs Service, Western Marine Command has on Monday the 4th of March 2024 handed over a total of one hundred and twenty, 120, sacks containing 10,551 loaves of cannabis sativa, known in local parlance as wee-wee to the to Nigeria Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA. Again, CBN Increases Customs Duties by 2.6 % for the fifth time in 2024

The Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN) has increased the exchange rate for computing customs duties at the Nation’s seaports for the fifth time in less than 60 days of 2024. The rate was reviewed upward on Wednesday morning from ₦1,444.56/dollars to ₦11,481,482/dollars, according to information obtained from the official trade portal of the Nigeria Customs Service(NCS).
