Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘A’ Ikeja, Lagos, under the Control of Deputy Comptroller Kehinde Ejibunu has seized goods worth of #1.8 billion, approximately eight trailer loads of foreign parboiled rice  alongside eight die  hard smugglers were all intercepted on October 6, 2023. NCS Ogun 1 intercepts 1,436 tyres, 3,149 bags of rice, Cannabis Sativa in Two weeks

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS)(Ogun 1 Area Command has intercepted 1,436 used Pneumatic tyres, 569 parcels of Cannabis Sativa, weighing a total of 1,179 kilograms as well as 3,149 bags of foreign parboiled rice, each weighing 50 kilograms. The seizures were made alongside 32 vehicles used for conveyance, among other items.The Duty Paid Value (DPV) of the seizures amounts to N241,977,943.00. The seizures were made between September 18 and September 30, 2023 under the watchful eyes of Deputy Comptroller Bello Shuaib the Controller is in charge of the command.
