In the recent reorganization of leadership style going on in the Nigeria Customs Service by the management team , the Western Marine Command of the Service, on the 16th day of April 2024 welcomed its own new Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Paul K Bamisaiye.
The Command witnessed a brief handing over ceremony, which occurred between the outgoing CAC Compt. OA Salefu and the incoming CAC Compt. PK Bamisaiye, inside the command’s headquarters at Ibafon Apapa In Lagos
The outgoing CAC , Comptroller Salefu at the handover event appreciated Officers and men of the Command for the Cooperation during his tenure as the CAC of the Command, in same vein, tasked them to give the new CAC same cooperation and even more.
He further stated that, change in leadership and life is constant and inevitable, as his tenure comes to an end in Western Marine Command, he prayed that God Almighty continue to guide the new leadership.
In response, the incoming CAC, Comptroller Bamisaiye, thanked the outgoing CAC for the skillful way he led the Command and wished him the best as he moves on to his new assignment.
The new CAC affirmed that he has worked in various Customs formations of the Service Administration and he assured the officers and men, of his rich operational expertise to his new position which he said that it will definitely boost the command’s operations to a greater height.
Comptroller Bamisaiye noted that before his promotion to the rank of Comptroller and his present appointment, he has served as Scanner Manager at PTML Area Command, and was also a Provost marshal Customs Police Unit at NCS headquarters Abuja.
He concluded by thanking the Comptroller General and his management team for the faith reposed on him and promised to execute his responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
