Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) Invites Stakeholders to Q3 Breakfast Meeting

The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) is pleased to invite stakeholders to its upcoming Breakfast Meeting, scheduled for July 24, 2024, at the Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.

The theme of the meeting is “Trade Facilitation and President Tinubu’s Economic Agenda: Matters Arising,” and it aims to educate the public on the significant contributions of trade to the nation’s economic development.

The meeting will feature the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, as well as other chief executives of government agencies and critical stakeholders in the industry. The attendees will brainstorm on trade facilitation and proffer solutions to the challenges faced in the sector.

Other dignitaries expected to attend the meeting include ship owners, freight forwarders, the President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Adewale Adeyanju, and other stakeholders in the marine and Blue Economy sector.

MARAN’s President, Mr. Godfrey Biberere, signed the statement inviting stakeholders to the meeting, emphasizing the importance of trade facilitation in the nation’s economic growth.
