Customs Service Gets New Management Team, CGC Adeniyi Approves Key Appointments

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced key management appointments and redeployments to enhance strategic service delivery. Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, approved the appointments and redeployments following the statutory retirement of some members of the management team.

The appointments include:

– BM Jibo as Acting Deputy Comptroller General (DCG) of Finance Administration and Technical Services (FATS)

– O.A Alajogun as Acting DCG of Enforcement, Inspection and Investigation (EI&I)

– IG Umar as Acting Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) of Headquarters

– O.A Salefu as Acting ACG of Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC)

– B.A Makinde as Acting ACG of Human Resource Development (HRD)

– T. Bomodi as Acting ACG of Enforcement, Inspection and Investigation (EI&I)

According to Chief Superintendent of Customs and National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada, these appointments are a testament to the officers’ exemplary services and dedication to the NCS.

The Comptroller General of Customs congratulated the newly appointed officers and charged them to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates.
