The Maritime Reporters’ Association of Nigeria (MARAN) is set to host its highly anticipated annual lecture this Thursday, November 21, at the Providence Hotel in Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

The event, themed “AfCFTA: Dismantling Trade Barriers, Navigating Regional Trade,” promises to deliver in-depth insights into Africa’s Free Trade Agreement and its impact on regional and global commerce.

Key Highlights:

⁠Special Guest of Honour: Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, will deliver the keynote address, highlighting the Federal Government’s initiatives to dismantle trade barriers and foster a competitive blue economy.

 ⁠Expert Lineup: Olusegun Awolowo, Secretary, AfCFTA Nigeria; Mrs. Chinwe Ezenwa, renowned maritime expert; Muda Yussuf, economist and CEO of Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise; and Adewale Adeniyi, Comptroller-General of Customs, will share their expertise.
