
Lekki Port has welcomed Hauwa Abubakar as its new Customs Area Controller, promising maximum cooperation to drive revenue growth and profitability.
The port’s Managing Director, Wang Qiang, praised Abubakar’s appointment, describing her as a “round peg in a round hole” due to her outstanding contributions to the Nigeria Customs Service.

Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise Limited is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) that was awarded the Concession Agreement for the development and operations of the Lekki Deep Sea Port.
The port is a joint venture enterprise owned by foreign promoters, the Lagos State Government, and the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
