The Director of the Nigeria National Single Window Project, Tola Fakolade, has clarified that the platform will integrate government agencies’ processes to eliminate duplication and improve efficiency, rather than replacing them.
The system will ensure seamless collaboration between agencies, reflecting risk assessments and compliance requirements
Key highlights include:
Integration with Existing Systems :NSW will operate alongside the B’Odogwu Customs Management System, handling core Customs processes and serving as a single-entry portal for traders.
Training and Support: Extensive training has been conducted for end-users, including importers, exporters, and freight forwarders.
Initial Services: Applications for import licences, certificates, and permits will be available on launch day, March 27, 2026.
Freight forwarders have commended the initiative, recognizing their critical role in trade facilitation.
