Nigeria Customs Service Western Marine Command (WMC) in  accordance with its primary mandate outlined in section 4 of the NCS Act 2023 has successfully intercepted contraband valued at over 900 million Naira from August to October 2023. The WMC executed rigorous border enforcement and regulatory activities, resulting in the arrest and seizure of the significant illegal goods. Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operation Unit, Zone A has intercepted 14, 825 litres of Premium Motor Spirit ( PMS), 5,033 pieces of hide and skin concealed in 730 sack in 40 feet container and other contraband valued at N1.2 billion from the South West axis of the country.
