The Nigeria Customs Service in its bid for the reformation of “New Customs” has taken a decision of  Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) during the 6th management meeting of the service on 23rd of August 2023. The Media Anti-Corruption Initiative (MACI), a Non-governmental organization has  sent a congratulatory message to the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, on his appointment as the boss of Nigeria Customs Service. Towards work efficiency of the Officers and Men of the Nigeria Customs Service through training and re-training, the Service has attained yet another limestone achievement by graduating 50 Officers of Junior Course 16. The Nigerian Customs Service, Murtala Mohammed Airport Command has generated a total sum of N47,249,785,020.44 revenue within the first seven years of the year, 2023.
