......Generates N135bn in October 2023 The  Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Apapa Command has recorded an outstanding daily revenue ever to the tune of N11.3bn on November 22,  2023 thereby surpasssing the existing highest daily collection record of N10bn which was  achieved on August 3, 2023.   The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Idiroko Command has generated the total sum of N30,408,276.00 as revenue, through baggage assessment and auction sales of seized petroleum products from the 1st to  31st October . The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is bringing to the awareness of general public,  a crucial scam alert  as regards the escalating activities of fraudulent entities preying on unsuspecting individuals through social media platforms, falsely claiming association with the NCS for purposes of auctions or recruitment. NCS National Public Relations Officer Abdullahi Maiwada  released the scam alert for the CGC Adeniyi, through a press release on Monday 13th of November 2023. Nigeria Customs Service Western Marine Command (WMC) in  accordance with its primary mandate outlined in section 4 of the NCS Act 2023 has successfully intercepted contraband valued at over 900 million Naira from August to October 2023. The WMC executed rigorous border enforcement and regulatory activities, resulting in the arrest and seizure of the significant illegal goods.
